For celebrities whose lives are constantly under the microscope, plastic surgery rumors often arise, whether unfounded or not. As the most Googled person in 2023, Taylor Swift is no exception to this rule, with thousands of people asking the same question about her physique.
Did Taylor Swift get breast work?
Fans are speculating that the singer may have undergone breast augmentation surgery and are sharing before and after photos to support their claims. Rumors of Swift’s alleged job began circulating around 2018, when she suddenly appeared bustier than her usual petite frame.
The singer has never addressed the rumors that have been circulating for years. However, several plastic surgeons have weighed in on the rumors, with many agreeing that she probably had work done. In 2019, Life & Style consulted Dr. Norman Rowea board-certified plastic surgeon in New York and asked for his opinion on Swift’s seemingly enhanced breasts at that year’s Golden Globes.
“She had breast augmentation. That is the only explanation,” he said. Dr Rowe made it clear that her breasts are ‘past the point of growing naturally’ and says her operation looks ‘good and natural’.
However, there are countless other reasons, besides surgery, that could cause a woman’s breast size to change.
“Her breasts definitely look bigger now than they used to, but other than a breast augmentation and surgery, there are many things that could have caused it,” board-certified plastic surgeon Jonathan A. Schwitzer, MD, said in a video TikTok.
Swift is a 34-year-old woman who may be experiencing physical changes that come with adulthood. It’s no secret that a woman’s breasts can grow and shrink with weight gain and loss. Swift doesn’t appear to have gained any weight, but at such a slim figure, even a slight weight gain could make her breasts appear fuller than usual.

“It could also just be that he dresses differently,” Dr. Schwitzer said. She definitely has a team of stylists and hair and makeup people getting her ready, and those people know stuff. Things like how a well-fitting underbust pad can make it look fuller. Or how the tape used by stylists can push small to medium breasts up, making them appear fuller.
Menstrual cycles can also affect a woman’s breast size. A woman’s breasts are fuller just before and during her period. Let’s not forget that little bit of biology as we discuss Swift’s fuller breasts.
“Her breasts definitely look bigger,” admitted Dr. Schwizter, “but I can’t say for sure that it’s the result of plastic surgery.”
Whether someone has had plastic surgery or not is no one’s business and no one can judge.
It is natural to speculate about a celebrity’s appearance as we often look up to them and many may even try to emulate them.
“A lot of celebrities look good naturally, but a lot of them also have a job. And when they’re not honest about it, I think they’re unethical because they’re in the spotlight. They benefit from being celebrities and they have a moral obligation to be transparent about anything they’ve done that affects them. helps them achieve a certain look,” board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Daniel Barrett he told USA Today.
That said, it’s important for us to remember that, no matter how high we put them, celebrities are real people with real feelings.
“We all assume that celebrities are these big, bad people with big, powerful, inflated egos, but they’re not,” Barrett said. “Imagine you’re a very successful, talented person and you’re being held up under the microscope for body image things you’ve never even considered.”
While some people may call for celebrities to be more transparent about any physical changes they may make to their bodies to help limit unhealthy body image to those who may look up to them, what a person decides to do or not to do with his body is ultimately no. anyone’s business but his own.
