Anesthesia can make someone feel incredibly uncomfortable, and the observations they make while recovering from the drug can range from innocent to downright strange.
And in a two-part viral video series posted by TikTok creator Isa (@isabellannesmith), her experience after wisdom teeth surgery was the first.

After the surgery, Isa did not recognize her boyfriend of three years. However, her reaction to seeing him in person couldn’t have been sweeter.

A woman couldn’t remember her boyfriend after having her wisdom teeth removed.
In the first part of her viral video series, Isa’s mother recorded her daughter’s reaction to seeing her boyfriend Joey after his wisdom tooth extraction.
When her mom asked if Isa remembered her partner, she hesitantly replied, “I think so.”
Meanwhile, Joey waited outside the passenger door of the car in which the two women were sitting.

Isa’s mother then informed her daughter that she had a boyfriend, to which the creator breathlessly said, “I have?” As soon as she turned her head and saw Joey standing by the car window, Isa squealed and noted how “cute” he was.

And her reaction got even better when Joey opened the door and greeted her.
“You’re so beautiful!” Isa exclaimed as she looked at her boyfriend of three years. “You have beautiful eyes,” she gushes.
After returning the compliment to his girlfriend, Joey told Isa that he loved her. Her response? “You love my? Ouch.”
And after the anesthesia wore off and the creator edited the clip, she gave her thoughts on the adorable situation. “I had my wisdom teeth out and had a crush on my boyfriend for almost three years,” Isa captioned the video.

The boyfriend’s sweet reaction to his girlfriend’s wisdom teeth removal touched social media.
Naturally, the collective hearts of the comments section burst upon viewing the creator’s viral wisdom tooth removal video.
“Him talking so sweet to her and her cooing over him…I love it,” one person wrote.
Another wrote: “Do you love me?” Awe omg,” followed by a crying emoji. And in the second part of Isa’s video series, people got to see even more of the couples’ healthy dynamic.

In her second Tik Tokthe creator shared a clip of a dental professional and Joey handing her a bag full of get-well goodies.
After Isa’s precious interaction with her boyfriend, her mother proceeded to film even more of the creator’s wisdom teeth recovery.
When her mom jokingly told Isa that she was a movie star, he immediately believed her and asked if Joey and the dental assistant knew about her Hollywood status.

After Issa’s mother assured her that they knew, she took a breath and asked her mom what movie she had been in. Her response? “Uh”, followed by the camera cut.

At the end of the video, the creator revealed that she had asked her mom to pretend she was supposed to have a British accent after her wisdom teeth were extracted.
When her mom brought it up, Isa nervously asked, “Should I? Oh no…”
