Victoria Beckham is known for rarely smiling and even coined the phrase ‘fashion stole my smile’, but on the odd occasion she does make us smile, she has a lovely set of perfectly aligned teeth. This was not always the case though. The 48-year-old has undergone extensive dental work to achieve her enviable smile, according to leading professionals in the industry.
As one of the most famous women on the planet, it’s only natural that many would be fascinated by Victoria’s transformation over the years she’s been in the public eye. These experts are ruining the shine of her teeth…
An expert opinion on Victoria white pearls
Dr. Sahil Patel, Cosmetic Dentist and Founder Marylebone Smile Clinic, weighed down the fashion designer’s Hollywood smile over the years. “Victoria Beckham’s teeth have been in better shape during her lifetime than most people,” he began.
“Aesthetically, she had a narrow smile and smaller lower jaw as a teenager, resulting in negative tipping of her front and back teeth. This appears as a small or narrow smile that does not show many teeth compared to a typical American smile.”
© John StantonDr Sahil added: “It appears she had ceramic veneers on her top ten and possibly her bottom ten teeth, to improve the alignment, width and color of her smile. The tipping of her teeth has not yet been fully corrected, but the ceramic has been designed in such a way as to balance the width of her smile so that she achieves a ‘straight’ smile even if the teeth are not in ideal positions.”

“Prior to her smile makeover, Victoria has what we call a ‘deep bite’, which is when your upper teeth overlap your lower teeth more than is considered normal,” explained Dr. Rhona Eskander from Chelsea Dental Clinic in a viral TikTok Video.
“Her teeth were also tipped, meaning they were leaning inwards,” he added. Victoria also had no cheekbones, before she renewed her smile. Oral corridors are when you show eight to ten teeth when you smile, for a wide, attractive smile. Before her dental makeover, when Victoria smiled, everything was focused on the front teeth, with the back teeth not showing as much.

© James DevaneyIf you compare Victoria’s perfect 2021 smile to photos of the star from her Spice Girls days, the expert claimed it’s possible VB had porcelain veneers. “The shapes and proportions of the teeth have completely changed, as has her bite, so it’s possible she’s had her upper and lower teeth done.”
The dentist also explained that Victoria’s new teeth are the key to maintaining her age-defying look. Dr. Rhona explained that Victoria has a long upper lip length, which measures the base of the nose to the top of the lip.
As we age, this area grows, which can make us look older. Having larger teeth provides more support to the lips to keep them lifted, fuller and more youthful.
Victoria now has fuller oral passages and the length of the teeth has changed. “Some people try to achieve this with orthodontic treatment such as braces, but because the shape and color of Victoria Beckham’s teeth have changed, we can see that she has veneers, because this cannot be achieved with braces and whitening alone.”
