| LITTLE ROCK — David Sterling, MD, has joined the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Department of Surgery as an assistant professor of plastic surgery.
A board-qualified plastic surgeon, Sterling earned his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from McGill University in Montreal and his medical degree from Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine in Scranton, Pennsylvania, where he graduated at the top of his class. He completed his six-year training in comprehensive plastic surgery at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.
In addition to working at the UAMS Health Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Clinic on the main UAMS campus, Sterling will treat patients at the new UAMS Health Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Clinic, located in west Little Rock at 9501 Baptist Health Drive, Suite 760, in the Medical Towers II.
In the cosmetic clinic, Sterling will offer such cosmetic procedures as:
- Abdominoplasty (abdominoplasty)
- Arm/body/thigh lift
- Breast augmentation/lift/reduction
- Body outline
- Face lift
- Eyelid surgery
- Liposuction
- Rhinoplasty
- Chemical peels and injectables (neurotoxin, fillers)
- Other minimal and non-invasive treatments
