John J. Petrini, Jr., DDS, MS, FACP
Meet Dr. Petrini: “I feel very blessed to be in a profession where I can participate in restoring people’s confidence, self-esteem, function and quality of life.” Dr. Petrini is a second generation dentist. He attended the University of the Pacific, San Francisco for his dental degree, then continued his education with a three-year residency in Prosthodontics. Trained at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, he also received a concurrent master’s degree from George Washington University in Oral Biology. He received his Board Certification in Prosthodontics from the American Board of Prosthetists and is a Fellow of the American College of Prosthetists, an achievement few Prosthetists have.
KIMBERLY SCHLAM, DMD, MS
Dr. Schlam completed her undergraduate studies at Hobart & William Smith Colleges where she had the opportunity to study abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark as well as take courses ranging from chemistry to sculpture. She earned her degree in Dentistry from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts where she met her husband, Dr. Mark Schlam.
Dr. Schlam completed her residency in prosthodontics and earned her master’s degree in oral biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During her residency she also gained extensive experience in the science and art of full mouth implant reconstruction. Professionally, Dr. Schlam is passionate about continuing to understand the physical and emotional impact of dentures on her patients today and in the future.
Specialisation: There are only 9 specialties in dentistry and Prosthodontics is one of them. It is very important when considering dental implant treatment and/or cosmetic dentistry that your dentist has the formal university training that will ensure an excellent result. We specialize in dental implant restorations, crowns, dentures, implant-supported dentures, veneers, bridges and partial dentures. We specialize in full care, handcrafted craftsmanship in our workshop. We make what would otherwise be a complex process smooth and seamless for our patients.

Keeping up to date with the latest and greatest techniques helps us achieve the best results dentistry has to offer for you. Dr. Petrini and Schlam are mentors for several local study clubs. Dr. Petrini is also a member of several honorary societies in Prosthodontics, and other professional organizations that actively strive to advance the art and science of dentistry. Dr. Petrini has lectured extensively and taught other dentists how to perform many of the techniques he offers in his private practice. He is a member of The Pacific Coast Society for Prosthodontists, Washington State Society of Prosthodontists, American College of Prosthodontists, American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, American Academy of Osseointegration and Seattle Study Club.
