Presenter Ben Shepherd is currently facing a backlash after a controversial remark he made during the presentation This morning on live television earlier today.
Along with co-host Cat Deeley, the former Good morning Britain The frontman sat down to watch the ITV show with guest Gina Sigobodhla, who opened up about a rare operation she had undergone after the birth of her children.
Gina told the presenters that, for years before her controversial procedure, she had struggled with a low libido and a huge loss of sexual confidence.
The mother-of-three then underwent a ground-breaking vaginal resuscitation procedure to help her suffering, which saw her own blood injected into her vagina – known as the ‘Vampire Wing Lift’.
“To be honest, most of the symptoms have lessened,” Gina recalls, adding that the reduction in trips she has to make to the bathroom has been a lifesaver.
“You wake up and still feel quite tired and dry as well,” she explained.
“I just feel like the feeling has come back because I think after two to three months I started to feel like something has changed.”

Dr Sarah Jenkins, a specialist in women’s health, went on to explain how the procedure works: ‘When it comes to the treatment, we actually use tiny little botox needles, so it wouldn’t hurt any more than botox.
“And we inject into the clitoris, which is called the O-axis, and we inject around the vagina, and that actually helps rejuvenate the skin.”
After the eye-opening conversation, Ben told Gina: “Sounds like you’ve got your smile back and your husband, I’m sure he’s enjoying it too.
“He got his wife back, that must be very important to the two of you, so thank you for sharing your story.”
Despite possibly intending the remark to be a light joke, Gina appeared rather blindsided by Ben’s obvious implication, responding with an awkward laugh before agreeing and trying to move the conversation on.

Additionally, earlier in the show, Ben was seen once again having a theme area light up during a clash with Relaxed women panel – despite Gina later opening up about the pain she’d experienced following an emergency C-section at 27 weeks due to one of her twins not growing properly.
This led to her suffering from pre-eclampsia and pulmonary blood clots, leading to the tragic loss of her baby after just four months.
However, in a pan opposite to Relaxed women Star Coleen Nolan – who was discussing her new tattoo – was asked by Ben: “I guess Coleen’s new tattoo is mine?”

Coleen then sarcastically replied: “No, it’s a vampire trick!”, to which Ben said: “Wait, don’t you already have one of those Coleen?”
“He only comes out at night!” she answered.
As a result, Ben and his ITV co-stars have since come under fire from viewers.
“Poor girl doesn’t look happy after everyone took the mickey,” wrote one viewer.
While another continued: “Everybody’s laughing at this woman, bet she’s sitting on the couch thinking what did I do, why did I come on this show.”
