Ross Kemp revealed why he would never get a hair transplant as he reflected on a new phase in his life in a candid new interview on Sunday.
The 59-year-old actor opened up about aging and what it’s like to be an older dad at school as well as his relationship with his looks.
Ross is married to his wife Renee O’Brien, a lawyer, and they have three children together – Leo, eight, and twins Ava and Kitty, six. He also has a teenage son Oliver from a previous relationship.
She explained that while she would like to have a head, she would never get hair implants, as she quipped: “That’s me. If you don’t like it, you know what you can do!”
He said The times: “I’m trying to make myself presentable, which is not easy with this face. I look in the mirror and think: squishy sultana.

“Wish I had hair? Of course, but I would never get hair implants or plastic surgery to fix that patch under my chin. That’s me. If you don’t like it, you know what you can do.’
Speaking about being an older dad at school, he added: ‘I never eat breakfast, which gives me time to do the school run.
“I’m older than most dads, but there are advantages to that. I’m calmer when things go wrong and better at keeping things in perspective.’
Last year Ross revealed that his wife ‘set him straight’ at the start of their relationship, admitting that he often got into a ‘mess’ with his friends.
The star married his second wife, Australian Renee, in 2012 and the couple have been happily married ever since.
Ross – who rose to fame as Grant Mitchell in Eastenders – appeared on the Plot Twist podcast where he made the comments about his wife.
When asked why his current marriage lasted, he said: “Renee is quite practical, she’s Australian, she’s a lawyer, she’s very straightforward.
“He had never seen EastEnders. He had no idea I was Grant Mitchell or anything and he didn’t really understand that I was making a documentary.”

Revealing how she behaved badly in the early days of their relationship, he said: “I had just come back from Afghanistan when I first met her and I generally behaved really badly for the first four or five weeks.”
He added: “I’ve changed now, obviously, but I used to get a bit mixed up with some of the guys, and she kind of straightened me out.
“But he knows what I’m doing and you know, there’s a great saying, especially used by my comrades in the armed forces, which is ‘quick goodbye and big hello’.
Following his divorce from first wife Rebekah, Ross welcomed his first child, a boy, with partner and former makeup artist Nicole Coleman.
Since his marriage to Renee, the documentarian has welcomed three more children.
The father-of-four also spoke about the hassle he faces from drunken lads when he’s out in public: ‘If they’re in the pub all day they want to hug you a few times or they might want to give you a bit of a punch.
“I went out for the first time in a long time to watch some rugby on Friday night and yes, there were blokes out there who were definitely ready to show me how tough they were
“There were also some who wanted to hug me and cry on my shoulder. But in general most people are very nice
“I think I’ve only turned down one selfie and that was because someone said, ‘Oh, you! Give me a selfie’ and I said, ‘Not today my friend.’ It happens.’
