Retainers For Life (RFL) announced that it will expand its operations in Canada, following a record rate of adoption during the company’s Canadian pilot program.

Retainers For Life, the orthodontist company that revolutionized retention, allows orthodontists to more effectively recoup lost revenue with their unique Smile Protection program. Through this program, practices can provide patients with retention devices at wholesale prices in exchange for a one-time membership fee.
“Almost every patient needs retainer replacement at some point after treatment,” said joint orthodontist and RFL founder Dr. Amy Jackson. “But so few patients return to the office for this replacement. Not only does this mean that the practice loses additional revenue, but it also means that the patient’s clinical progress is interrupted.”
Dr. Jackson experienced this challenge in her practice firsthand, which inspired her to begin offering a home retention program.
“Running a program like this on your own is easy… year one. Third year though? It’s an administrative nightmare and a huge headache.” Dr. Jackson shared. Feeling this frustration led her to start Retainers For Life.
The company grew quickly, was adopted by practices across the United States, and resulted in Canadian practices asking to join.

The company will officially launch its Canadian expansion at the upcoming CAO (Canadian Association of Orthodontists) event at the end of September, where they expect the momentum they experienced with the pilot program to continue.
