A WOMAN has left people gasping after returning from Turkey with new teeth she claims cost her £1,700.
Maisie admitted she was in love with her new look, which she achieved with the help of sparkling white veneers.
“I know you’ve all been waiting and I’m totally buzzing,” she began on her TikTok videowith her hand over her mouth to hide the finished look.
“This completely changed my appearance.
“They are exactly how I wanted them!”
Maisie claimed she got an “unbelievable” deal with a new dentist in Turkey, for 12 veneers on the bottom and 14 on top – costing her £1,700.
She was away looking for some spring sunshine and says she gave herself a new smile in the meantime.
“Turkey teeth” have become popular in recent years – with thousands of Brits shaving their natural teeth down to the pegs for cheap veneers.
Although they are still expensive, they are a fraction of the cost of visiting a British dentist – adding to their appeal.
“Are you ready for the big reveal?” Maisie said in the TikTok video, before removing her hand.

Smiling for the camera to show off her new teeth, Maisie gushed: “I can’t believe I finally have great teeth!”
In another videoMaisie admitted she was sick “on both ends” after going out for dinner on her last night in Turkey.
“I’m really anxious. I haven’t eaten anything yet,” she said.
“I try not to drink because it hurts so much. My mouth is killing me!”
She then asked her son what he thought of her new look, saying, “What do you think of mom’s new teeth?”
“It’s okay,” he replied.
“But you look like Gnasher from Dennis the Menace!”
“That’s very rude!” Maisie replied.
Unsurprisingly, the comments section on the video was immediately filled with people sharing their thoughts on Maisie’s teeth.
“The delusion you have to live in to think your teeth look good is amazing,” wrote one.
“I wouldn’t leave, you need to get your teeth fixed,” added another.
“You look like you’re in agony. You can hardly speak!”
“Since the teeth are too big for your mouth, you’ve ruined your real teeth…” insisted a third.
“Wait until you start REALLY hurting and end up in the hospital with everything torn up.
“We barely understand you!”
What you need to know about turkey teeth
Although thousands flock abroad each year in hopes of a new set of white pearls, experts have warned of the dangers of traveling to Turkey for the popular treatment.
This is because part of this process involves filing down your natural chips in order for the new veneers to fit.
As natural tooth enamel will not grow back, beauty enthusiasts will always require the placement of some kind of veneer.
Dr Maurice Johannes, lead dentist at Harley Street Smile Clinic, echoed the concerns, saying: “I cannot stress enough that people need to be 100% clear about exactly what they are signing up for when they go abroad for cosmetic dental treatment.
“Although patients are under the impression that they have veneers, they are actually crowns, which means much more aggressive tooth reduction.
“Someone like Katie [Price] he may be happy with the final appearance, but with this amount of tooth reduction he massively increases the risk of nerve damage and root canal treatment.”
“I’m so sorry. But it looks like a horse’s mouth,” wrote another.
“Bugs bunny ain’t got nothing on you,” joked another.
“They look like they’re from Temu!” one person wrote.
“No Maisie, come on seriously tell us you’re kidding! You look like Trisha Goddard,” laughed another.
Maisie has been known to sport plaque in other videos, leading some to question whether the expensive veneers were legitimate dentistry.
“Sorry but along with many other followers I thought you were joking about their teeth…” wrote one.
“They’re nice and white, but they’re too big for you and you’re slurring your words!”
“The dedication to keep this going at every location is hilarious. I love it,” added another.
“This honestly can’t be serious,” said a third.
“They’re really funny.”
However, there were some who approved of the new teeth.
“I love them baby, they look amazing on you,” wrote one.
“Good choice!”
As another said: “Those teeth are great, baby!”
