My LM-Activator is a pre-made silicone aligner and activator designed to gently support the healthy and natural growth of the face and jaw. According to the company, the device is suitable for treating excessive overbite, overbite, deep bite, anterior open bite, anterior crowding, distal bite and anterior crossbite.
“Early orthodontic treatment aims to detect anomalies at an early stage and stop their development. The Silicone Burst Guide has been developed specifically for the needs of early orthodontic treatment. It guides the development of the child’s teeth and jaw as they erupt as well as widen the dental arches. The eruption guidance device is mainly used at night,” says Juha Varrela, emeritus professor of dental development and orthodontics from the University of Turku Institute of Dentistry.
The new My LM-Activator device reportedly includes an improved and lightweight design to improve fit and patient comfort, as well as updated packaging.
