In Season 1, Episode 9, the group went on Janet Caperna’s Babymoon to Big Bear Lake, California, where Michelle and Jesse Lally got playful during a trip to the shore. Things, however, took a turn for the worse when Jesse accidentally punched his estranged wife in the face, landing her right in the nose.
“As someone who has had three nose jobs, I can definitely understand what Michelle is going through right now,” Jax Taylor told producers.

The accident led to talk of cosmetic surgery, with multiple The valley cast members discussing their nose jobs.
The struggle was real for Janet Caperna, who confessed to the others that it had been 10 years since she had a nose job. Meanwhile, Michelle’s surgery was more recent, having had it just a year earlier.
“I had the worst deviated septum in the world,” Michelle told Capernas.
Of course, a teammate was sympathetic, having had his own rhinoplasty in previous years. Jax went into a little more detail about Brittany hurting Jax’s nose while going hot and heavy.

Jax says Brittany did his second nose job
“The time we had sex, very, toward the end of an intimate time of ours, Brittany — she got a little excited and headbutted me,” Jax told producers. “And that was the reason for nose job number two.”
Jax said before PEOPLE that the terrible butt, which caused him “severe pain,” came only a day or two after his first surgery, despite doctors urging Jax to rest during his recovery.

Of course, Michelle, Jax, and Janet aren’t the only Bravolebs who have “admitted to getting nose jobs.” His Kyle Richards The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills showed the world her before and after photos after the stabbing in 2020. Housewife of Kyle Dorit Kemsley has also toyed with the idea of having one herself.

Back to the cast members The valley, Nose changes aren’t the only thing Jax has undergone as part of his cosmetic journey. He also revealed that he got “all new teeth” and is a regular recipient of Botox. In fact, he, Kristen Doute, and Brittany (the latter shared her chin surgery in the debut episode of The valley and whose breast augmentation was a major story Vanderpump Rules) have all gone to the same professionals at Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Group to improve their appearance.
Jax and Brittany previously agreed that they were “very lucky” to have friends in the business.
