Latto talks pressure to get a BBL at 21: ‘Make your own decisions based on what you want to do’
Latto shares new details about her decision to undergo BBL four years ago.
The 25-year-old rapper recently took to social media to get some things off her chest. Facing criticism for posting gym selfies from viewers commenting on her surgical enhancements, Latto declare yourself
“My body was so tea. …I signed my contract when I was 21…actually I wasn’t even 21…and I just had money and was living a whole new life, eating out. I know I’m a foodie so now I had the money to feed that foodie in me and so I gained some weight. And everyone on the internet was calling me a “badass” and stuff like that, so I feel like that played a part. I started to be a little insecure about my body.”

Latto went on to share how the criticism she receives is still there after her Brazilian Butt Lift.
“Every time I post a picture from the gym, people say ‘Oh, he got BBL’. I was so loud and clear about a BBL I had four years ago. When I was 21, that’s what you convinced me I needed, by the way.”
She continued,
“B****** is in the third, fourth round by now. I got a BBL four years ago. That’s all I am now, you know. I’m getting my ass off and going to the gym!”
She added,
“Moral of the story: I just think everyone should stop worrying about everyone else. Natural girls win. Surgical girls… BBL girls win. Do what works for you and mind your own business. Make your own decisions based on what you want to do, not what others tell you to do.”

it’s not the first time Latto has discussed her experience with plastic surgery.

The Grammy-nominated rapper expressed similar sentiments during an April 2023 session on her radio show, 777 Radiowhere she encouraged young women to prioritize what is best for them.

In addition, in November 2023, Latto mentioned in an interview,
“I got a BBL in 2020. I also got 360 lipo: that’s on my stomach, back, ribs and whole torso. But then you have to maintain it, so I hired a coach.”
Latto she went on to detail her thought of undergoing a second round, saying;
“I tweeted the other day that I was almost going to have my second surgery and then I wanted to get a trainer.”
