How much does a full veneer set cost?
In the US, a complete set of veneers typically costs somewhere between $4,500 and $30,000 — or more.
That said, what is considered a “full set” of veneers varies by practice, with some defining only the teeth visible when a patient smiles and others the full mouth. Additionally, per Smiles on the Upper West Side, insurance usually doesn’t pay for this process.
Dr. Stanley Ye, DMD, who founded the Boston Post Dental Officesays Green issues exclusively via email that there is a “large margin” in veneer prices, which depends on factors such as the veneers’ “timing, expertise and quality of materials.”

Dr. Ye continued, “Some dentists are experts at placing composite veneers and can make them look very natural. Some take an hour to do this, some take the better part of a day to make the best veneer. Porcelain fabricated in the lab Veneers are sculpted by skilled lab technicians; the good ones are more like artists who can design veneers tailored to the shape of your smile and face.”
Here’s a look at US prices for a complete set of veneers:
- $4,500 to $30,000 or more, according to Perfect Miami Smile.
- $7,200 to $20,000, according to Arthur Glossman Cosmetic & Restorative Dentistry in Beverly Hills, California.

How much do veneers cost for a single tooth?
Doctor Ye says Green issues that usually “Porcelain veneers can reach up to a few thousand [dollars] per tooth”.
Complex weldinga similar but less permanent procedure, “can be as little as a few hundred dollars per tooth,” he adds.

According to Aspen Dental, which has more than 1,000 locations across the U.S., veneers can cost between $583 and $1,351 on average per tooth.

Ultimately, according to Dr. Ye, there should be careful planning and research before a patient proceeds with veneers.
“In my humble opinion, there needs to be a lot of discussion and thought before one chooses veneers,” says Dr. Ye. “First of all, why do we do it? Is there a problem with your smile that can be corrected with orthodontics first? My general rule is to make sure the teeth are aligned first, and if you still have an aesthetic problem, then we need to look at the veneers for correcting the shape of the teeth”.
