Gypsy-Rose Blanchard proudly shares her recovery journey after rhinoplasty in April.
On Wednesday, May 15, the famous Munchausen by proxy victim, 32, posted a GRWM (Get Ready with Me) videos on TikTok in which she discussed her nose job with her supporters while doing her makeup.
In the clip, Blanchard sat in a bathroom while applying foundation to her face using a blending sponge.
“I have to watch my nose because, as everyone knows, I had a nose job,” she said, laughing in unison.
She continued, “Well, I have to be careful because my nose is still healing.”
Blanchard shared that she did her due diligence before making the big decision by doing a lot of “TikTok research.” According to the Louisiana native, she was “surprised to learn that it takes a whole year” to see the final results.
As she took her deep dive, she discovered that a person’s nose job can “look great one month, but the next month it can look like you’ve been punched in the face.”
Taking a break from her blending, Blanchard posted a “before” photo of her nose before surgery. She said her previous “dominant” hitting was down to “genetics” coming from her father’s side of the family.
“[I] he didn’t feel it was a woman’s nose. God knows I’ve been teased about it,” Blanchard said of her “insecurity.”
He also showed an “after” photo and explained that using bandages after the operation resulted in “internal packing”, which “made it very difficult to breathe”.
He then talked about more non-glamorous moments after the surgery.
“One of the things I’m dealing with is, the inner stitches that are still itchy, and let me tell you — that’s gross, that’s TMI — boogers are crazy!” said Blanchard. “These are huge!”
In a TikTok follower video titled “GRWM part 2”, she admitted that she has no immediate plans for another plastic surgery.
“So I’ve been asked this in the past, if I wanted to do more plastic surgery, and I honestly don’t,” Blanchard said. “I’m very happy with everything else in my body — I’m happy with my figure. I have a very feminine figure. I have curves, I have boobs. I am very proud of them.”

She added: “I wouldn’t change a thing about myself – nothing about myself other than the nose job I had and got done.”
Before undergoing the procedure, Blanchard shared her plans with PEOPLE.
“I am currently on a journey of personal transformation and that includes a physical one,” she said in an exclusive statement in April. “Wish me luck with my surgery and keep an eye on it all this summer Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up.”
