JoJo Siwa spent $50,000 to change her teeth because she felt “insecure,” and now Page Six Style can exclusively reveal exactly how celebrity dentist Dr. Kevin Sands redesigned the ‘Karma’ singer’s smile.
After undergoing a thorough examination to determine if she would need medical treatment in addition to cosmetics, Siwa received a custom design for her veneers.
“Even with all her adult teeth, she had an immature smile with some stains, irregularities, breaks and discoloration that we wanted to address to create a more mature, appropriate smile with facial harmony and symmetry that worked with the jaw, gums and her lips. ,” Sands tells us, noting that some of the “Dance Moms” alum’s teeth were also “very small.”
Siwa’s plan included veneers for her upper and lower teeth to address common problems such as discoloration, shape, and misalignment.
After the 20-year-old and Sands worked together to decide on the shape, color and size of her veneers, the cosmetic dentist removed “a small percentage” from the surface of each tooth, which we’re told was about as thick as a nail.
Siwa was then fitted with a set of ‘temporary teeth’ so she could get used to how the permanent veneers would feel when fitted a few weeks later.
“Once the veneers were securely in place, we polished them to a smooth, shiny finish, enhancing their natural appearance and durability,” says Sands.
The Beverly Hills, Calif.-based dentist charges about $3,000 to $5,000 per tooth depending on the work required, but declined to say how many teeth Siua had replaced.

The ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ judge, however, has no qualms about revealing at the GLAAD Media Awards 2024 in March that she spent ‘€50’ on ‘these mothers’.
Siwa, who has undergone a major rebrand, shared on “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” last November that she is always “judged” on her looks.
“You know, people have told me I have a receding hairline. they don’t know I have a stress rash and that’s why I’m bald here,” he said at the time.
“A 12-year-old shouldn’t have a stress rash on his head that makes him bald, but I did.”
