Dr. Baptiste Talks About World Smile Day

For me, creating a smile can be achieved in many ways. I love meeting new patients who want to improve their smile. Building relationships is my favorite part of the job and one of the reasons I became an Orthodontist.

For some, it’s just cosmetic, but for others, it can be life-changing.

I also enjoy creating smiles by supporting the community I serve. I am fortunate that my internship has been going well and in turn I have supported many wonderful programs. Volunteering and participating in school and community programs allows me to connect with students and families on a different level.

My staff and I look for ways to help our local public schools as well as community events by sponsoring programs that are either underfunded or not funded at all. In addition to financial support, we love to give of ourselves and our time to great causes. Each month, during my vacations or before seeing patients (or after seeing patients), my staff and I can be seen helping with a school garden, giving out student of the month awards, cheering on athletes, serving meals to teachers, teaching dentistry in summer camp programs to name a few.

Each program creates lots of smiles, great memories and opportunities to connect with amazing people. This is what makes me smile!
