Bronwyn Newport talks about her plastic surgery.
In season 5, episode 4 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, The Bravo newbie ironed out some differences with Britani Bateman when she joked about her various nose jobs over the years.
After rejecting the ‘gold digger’ and ‘wicked stepmother’ archetypes, Bronwyn offered Britain a less ‘boring’ dig.
“If Britain wanted to say I’m on my third nose and it’s futile, yes, bitch, it is! I’m on my third nose!” Bronwyn scoffed. “This would be a read where I would say, ‘Well done! This bitch really came to play today.”
Bronwyn Newport shows off her ‘Pre Original Rhinoplasty’ nose
In her 2020 Instagram stories now saved to Highlight on her page, Bronwyn chronicled her previous rhinoplasty and explained why she decided to undergo multiple surgeries.
She first shared some photos of her “pre-original rhinoplasty” (with her husband, Todd Bradley) to show what her nose looked like.
Bronwyn then went on to reveal a “month post op” photo, writing how she was “very disappointed” with her results, noting that her nose still looked “so long” and “droopy”.
The Utah mom also reflected three months after surgery with another snap.
“The swelling has gone down a lot more, but I still think it’s ‘okay’ after all the pain, time and money,” she said. “Besides, breathing doesn’t seem to help at all!”
Why did Bronwyn Newport get 2 rhinoplasty revisions?
Bronwyn revealed she had ‘made peace’ with her nose since the previous operation but decided to have ‘a revision’.
“The nose is four years post-op, so there’s no swelling, but it still looks: wide at the lip, long and droopy at the tip,” she shared, hinting that her first revision was in 2016. “I’m sure, but i want to look better [I’m] in a much more suitable place to have plastic surgery. The first time I was insecure and I don’t think you should have surgery in that context.”
In another Instagram Story video, Bronwyn described the thought process behind the surgery and the “red flags” she experienced with her surgeon.
“I’ve always wanted a different nose for as long as I can remember,” Bronwyn reflected in the clip. “It was a bad moment [have the surgery]I kind of did four or five months ago [my] wedding.”
Bronwyn added that the procedure was something she did for herself and that she initially felt good about her choice of surgeon in San Francisco, where she and Todd were living at the time.
“I went and had a consultation with him and there should have been red flags straight from the jump,” Bronwyn revealed. “He didn’t take our consultation very seriously, he didn’t listen to what I was saying about what I hoped for as an outcome.”
The fashionista added that the surgeon also seemed to focus more on her cystic acne scars from her teenage years and convinced her to get breast implants.
“Every single one of those things should have been red flags,” he explained. “Also, I should have been a much better advocate for myself and know that it made me really uncomfortable.”
Bronwyn Newport Third Nose Results
Following that revision surgery, Bronwyn revealed her results as she recovered from her third rhinoplasty.
“I can see that the width is slimmer, and the tip is much more raised. Also, they fixed my diaphragm and it’s amazing how good the breathability is!” she gushed. “I’m so optimistic about the final product that I’m completely happy with the soon after swelling.”
“Still a little swollen, but I like what I’m seeing so far! Feels great!” she exclaimed, showing off the results of her new nose, but bemoaning the limitations placed on her during the treatment.
“I’m just acne-prone and I was worried!” she continued. “I haven’t been able to do my whole skin care routine when I have a cast/stent and even then I have to be careful with certain products…I sure miss it!”
Additionally, on Oct. 6, Bronwyn reflected on her rhinoplasty journey on her Instagram Stories after a follower asked if she was “happy with [her] review.”
“Honestly yes!” Bronwyn exclaimed over a photo of herself with her husband, Todd, and Derek Jeter. “It was a feature I was very confident about and now I’m not, but I also feel like I look like myself!”
Bronwyn also called out Dr. Scott K. Thompson of Utah Facial Plastics for his work. “[He] he did it for me and it was so helpful and amazing!”
