A British mum has died days after undergoing a Brazil lift operation in Turkey.
Demi Agoglia, 26, is said to have fallen ill hours before she was due to return to Manchester.
Family members said he returned to the clinic after the procedure in Istanbul for a check-up, but then fell ill.
She was rushed to intensive care, but doctors were unable to save her and she was pronounced dead on Monday.
Demi, of Little Hulton, Salford, Gtr Manchester, died despite doctors saying her surgery last Thursday was a success.
The mum-of-three, who gave birth to her youngest son just seven months ago, had flown to Turkey having previously undergone failed dental work and other surgeries.
Today her 37-year-old brother Carl warned anyone else thinking of going to Turkey for surgery “Don’t!”
The dad-of-four said: “It’s tragic what happened. We are just in shock. He went to Constantinople to do so.
“Her partner is still out there and his dad just flew out there to be with him.
“If anyone is thinking of flying to Turkey for business, I would say don’t do it!
“But she’s 26 and has a mind of her own, her mum didn’t want her out either.
“I believe there will be a coroner’s report there. Her partner needs a death certificate before he can come home.
“He’s only 26, he shouldn’t have died. Just don’t do it, it’s such a high risk. He should never have done it. He’s left behind three young children, including a seven-month-old baby.”
Younger sister Georgina posted a touching tribute video on TikTok featuring Demi.
She wrote: “I lost my sister yesterday. I miss you so much Demi. Nothing is real anymore. How can you leave.
“I just want to hear you scream okay Rkid nothing is ever the same without you I love you Demi x.”
Today friends paid tribute to Demi, who is the latest Briton to die tragically in Turkey after undergoing cosmetic surgery.
Megan Holland posted on Facebook: ‘Shine so bright on your beautiful boys Demi Agoglia and send them the strength they’ll need to get through this I can’t get you off my mind more needs to be done for these f* * *stupid companies.
“You were already perfect and now you’re not even here.”
Linda Breeze said: “Oh so sad RIP Demi Agoglia, you were loved and will be missed by so many.”
Shelby Flannagan added: “What a cruel world we live in. Even if we haven’t really talked in the past year, we’ve had so many memories over the years!
“Lots of crazy nights and mischief in our younger days. You were the life of the party and such a funny wild person.
“Thinking of your little boys, family and friends at this difficult time. Rest in peace Demi Agoglia.”

BRAZILIAN bum lifts have the highest risk of death of all cosmetic procedures, but are becoming increasingly popular thanks to curvy celebrities.
The operation – which costs £3,500 in Turkey but £10,000 in the UK – has a mortality rate of more than one in 4,000 operations, according to studies.
It involves inserting silicone implants or injecting fat from other parts of the body.
Melissa Kerr, 31, from Gorleston, Norfolk, died of a fatal blood clot in her lungs following a £3,200 operation in Istanbul in 2019.
Leah Cambridge, 29, suffered a blood clot during a £6,500 BBL in Turkey.
The mother-of-three, from Leeds, died in 2018 when she was accidentally injected with fat into a vein, causing three heart attacks.
In 2022, after a four-year hiatus on BBLs in the UK, the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons recommended that surgeons only inject fat under the skin and not deep into the muscles.
What is a Brazilian Bum Lift?
Brazilian bum lifts have grown in popularity in recent years thanks to curvy celebrities like Kim Karadashian.
Medical studies have shown that a BBL operation – which cost around £3,500 in Turkey but £10,000 in the UK – carries the highest risk of all cosmetic procedures with more than one death in 4,000 procedures.
The operating room sees surgeons insert silicone-filled implants and/or inject fat transferred from other parts of the body.
Other British women who have died after BBL in Turkey include Melissa Kerr, 31, from Gorleston, Norfolk, in 2019.
A fatal clot traveled to her lungs after a £3,200 procedure at an Istanbul clinic.
Leah Cambridge, 29, suffered a blood clot during a £6,500 Brazilian butt lift operation in Turkey.
The mother-of-three, from Leeds, died in August 2018 after having fat removed from the waist and injected into the buttocks.
But he suffered a fatal complication when fat was accidentally injected into a vein, causing him to suffer three heart attacks on the operating table.
In 2022 the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) issued new guidelines to members after a four-year hiatus from BBLs taking place in the UK due to concerns about the mortality rate.
He recommends surgeons only inject fat under the skin and not deep into the muscles like a BBL.
