It’s no secret that the cast of ‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ loves plastic surgery.
Layla Taylor, who stars in the new Hulu reality show, tells Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast that she underwent a series of cosmetic procedures after filming Season 1.
“In the last four months, I’ve had my breasts done, my nose, a tummy tuck, lip fillers and chin fillers and Botox,” says the 23-year-old, noting that being a divorced single mother of two influenced her decision to go under the knife.
“I had little kids and I love my babies to death, but they messed up my body and I wanted to feel warm again. I’m single,” he explains. “I want a new husband one day, so I had to freshen up!”
Taylor’s close friend and co-star Demi Engeman tells us plastic surgery at a young age is common for members of the Mormon Church — especially those who reside in their home state of Utah.
“We all do all of this before we’re 20,” says Engemann, 30, who raved about her own rhinoplasty while chatting with “Virtual Reali-Tea.”
“That’s the Utah way.”
A 2007 survey in Forbes name Utah’s capital, Salt Lake City, the “vainest city in the US,” finding that there are six plastic surgeons per 100,000 residents — 2.5 times more than any other city of its size.
“Utah is known for minimal procedures where we still look natural,” Engeman says of the state’s approach to stings.

“And I feel like if you do very few things that bother you, then you don’t have to think about it. When you think about taking it off all the time, it’s worth it all day.”
“The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” follows the scandalous world of a group of influencer moms — known to their legions of social media followers as #MomTok — caught in the middle of a swinging sex scandal that made international headlines.
But glossy documentaries offer more than drama. Several episodes showcase the ladies’ penchant for cosmetic makeovers, giving viewers a glimpse of their visits to the medical spa and more.
Engeman points out that fellow “Mormon Housewives” personality Jesse Ngatikaura “underwent a lip job” while the cameras were rolling.
Still, Taylor admits she’s “probably” the most obsessed with plastic surgery of her group of friends.
“The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” is available to stream on Hulu.
