Has Demi Moore gone under the knife over the years? A Plastic Surgeon weighs in
Linkov began his analysis glancing at a picture of him St. Elmo’s Fire starred since 1981, when he was 19 years old. He explained how her facial structure, symmetry, strong jaw and large eyes were naturally beautiful at first.
She then went on to study the evolution of her face, noting that she believed her first surgery might have been a “brow lift” in 1986, when she was 24.
“It seems to me that Demi might have raised eyebrows at this point,” Linkov said. “The eyebrow is now positioned above the brow ridge and this persists for many years.”

Throughout the 90s, Linkov said he found no apparent changes in the Indecent suggestion icon face. However, she did point to examples of when her face looked more “full” during the decade, but noted that this was likely because she was pregnant twice in the ’90s.
Moore has three daughters with her ex-husband Bruce Willis: Rumor (born August 16, 1988), Detector (born July 20, 1991) and Tallulah (born February 3, 1994).

In 2002, aged 40, Linkov said that “it looks to me like Demi might have started doing a little Botox around this time”. He then zoomed in on the goose’s forehead, glabella and leg areas to show why he thought injections might have been made there. By 2010, Linkov said he “didn’t see any change” in her appearance and face.

“In 2010, at age 48, I wanted to point out that Demi has flawless looking skin,” he said. She noted that she believed this was because she did a great job of protecting her skin from “sun damage and a lot of sun exposure, so regular use of sunscreen is very important and basic skin care such as using a facial moisturizer, a cleanser and an HA Serum is great for maintaining great skin.’
When Moore turned 50 in 2012, Linkov said he saw signs of an “upper blepharoplasty,” a procedure “that removes some of the excess skin of the upper eyelids, and what it tends to do in some patients is cause some degree of hollowing of that area down the brow ridge.”

Four years later, in 2016, Linkov thinks that “this is where Demi may have started getting some cheek filler. When you compare, for example, at the age of 21, you can see how the cheeks look fuller, especially in the middle section, closer to the center of the face, and that’s where I find a lot of people over-inject.” In the case of Moore, however, Linkov believes that wasn’t the case, leading to her plump and glowing appearance.
However, that changed when Moore was 57 in 2019. Linkov said: “You can see that now with Demi getting inner cheek fillers, especially over the course of many years, there is now this over-inflated look. When we compare A similar angle from 1990, you can really tell there’s been a major change in how her face looks now compared to when she was younger.”She continued: ‘It’s not just the aging, it’s the filler.’

Linkov continued, “We now know through MRI studies that these fillers, especially HA fillers, tend to hang out.” They don’t dissolve on their own, Linkov warned.
“They can migrate, they can move to other parts of the face as we get older. They can dissolve, but often, they tend to accumulate over time and start to disfigure the face to some degree,” he said.
In 2020, when the Striptease sThe tar was 58 years old, Linkov noted that he could see the “introduction of the possible lip filler.” Right now, he added, “to me, Demi’s upper lip looks a little fuller than it has in the past.”
A year later, Linkov said he saw signs of a “potential brow lift revision” when Moore turns 59 in 2021. “For many years, the brow lift she may have had much earlier in her life, around 24, it took decades it seems,” he noted. “With the slight lowering of the eyebrows, it looks like she may have had them raised again.”
“I also see evidence of a possible facelift process,” Linkov shared. “When I look at the sideburns, it looks like the hair is partially gone. You can see the level where the hair starts, it fits a little closer to the side of the eye, whereas in the past, it definitely extended lower than that and we know that with facelift surgery, some of that ingrown hair may be lost.”
Linkov also said he saw “changes” in Demi’s groin area. “Often the goatee and the skin in front of it just looks different after a facelift surgery. It also looks like some of that cheek filler that she’s been getting in years past has really built up and so now, there’s basically an obliteration of the perioral boundaries, so the mouth area that’s supposed to be separate from the cheeks is now kind of a merged zone, and so you don’t see those clear boundaries,” he added.
In 2022, when Moore turned 60, Linkov shared that that’s when he thought Moore started to “reduce the amount of cheek filler she had.”
This then gave her a more “natural look once again”. In 2023 and 2024, Linkov noted: “I don’t see any other significant changes.” The total cost of these “potential plastic surgery procedures is $285,000,” Linkov estimated when he completed his analysis.
Moore’s fans took to the video’s comments section to share their thoughts on her current look and development journey. “Whoever her last surgeon is, he’s a genius,” wrote one, while another added: “Watching her over the years, she’s really aged beautifully and gracefully. I’m glad he doesn’t overdo it like most people.”
